I’ve been acting since I started doing musicals at age 14 with the regional production company Gotlands Musikalkompani (SWE) in shows such as Curtains, Sweeney Todd and the Secret Garden. At age 16 I moved to France to do a year abroad and I got the chance to study theatre and work on shows like the Importance of Being Earnest, the Picture of Dorian Grey, and Salomé, as well as improv training (whilst learning French, you can imagine the comedy). From the age of 20 I’ve been in the US, in California and then New York, where I’ve gotten the chance to do some classical plays such as Trojan Barbie (Christine Evans, adaptation of Trojan Women, Euripides) some Shakespeare, Strindberg, etc . For the past ten years I’ve gotten to work as an actor, singer and dancer in stage plays such as Disgraced, devised work and some improv sketch comedy Off-Broadway. This has been mixed with work in Musicals, Opera, Commercials, as well as Film and TV in the US, England, Germany and Sweden. I have also partaken in workshops for script and character development in the writing stage. My training was both rooted in classical theatre, heightened text, voice and movement work but was also deeply rooted in the Meisner technique.
